St. Louis Butter Cake

A gooey buutery filling on top of a cake like crust, it's hard to beat this sweet treat

Ingredients You'll Need for the cake

– yeast – milk  – butter  – sugar – egg – cups flour

Ingredients You'll Need for the topping

– light corn syrup –  vanilla –  butter –  sugar –  egg – flour – powdered sugar

Knead a yeast dough

Press it in a pan & let it rise

Dissolve corn syrup in water

Cream butter & sugar, add an egg and corn syrup

Spoon it over dough and bake

Let it cool

Sprinkle with powdered sugar
