The Lighter Version of a Classic Brownie

Ever wondered what brownies would taste like without the dark chocolate? Well, now you can with these White Chocolate Brownies. They’re just as fudgy as a regular brownie but with the flavor of white chocolate.

With white chocolate melted into the batter and white chocolate chips sprinkled throughout, the creamy white chocolate comes through in every bite, just like with chewy white chocolate cookies.

Unlike a blondie recipe, which is more cake-like and made with brown sugar, these brownies are all about white chocolate.

Everything is made in one bowl, making it’s a great dessert for days when you want something sweet but don’t want to dirty up a bunch of dishes. The batter comes together just like regular brownie batter and takes less than an hour to make from start to finish.

You’ll love how easily these easy white chocolate brownies hold up, especially on hot days. You can take them to the pool or to a picnic or even ship them to a friend without them falling apart. They won’t crumble, and they’re not too crispy or cakey. My girls love getting these in a care pacakage!

These kitchen sink cookies are also high on the list of care package favorites.

Your New Favorite Dessert Bar

Here’s why you’ll forget about regular brownies forever:

  • Fudgy white chocolate: These brownies have a white chocolate-forward flavor from the white chocolate melted and chips mixed right into the batter.
  • One bowl: You only need one bowl to make this recipe. No stand mixer required.
  • Best texture: These aren’t cakey or dry at all, rather fudgy with a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

If you’re into fudgy without being too rich, these pecan brownies strike a perfect balance.

What Goes Into a White Chocolate Brownie Recipe

Here are the main ingredients you’ll need to make white chocolate brownies from scratch. Make sure to check the recipe card for the full list of ingredients and measurements.

  • White chocolate (chopped): White chocolate gives these brownies their creamy, sweet flavor. Be sure to use good-quality white chocolate for the best flavor and texture. Ghirardelli or Lindt are great options.
  • White chocolate chips: These provide little pockets of gooey white chocolate throughout the brownies, adding a bit of extra sweetness and texture throughout.

Make These Perfectly Chewy White Chocolate Brownies

Step One: Melt Butter and White Chocolate

Pro tip: Go slow and steady when melting the chocolate with the butter. You don’t want to heat up the chocolate too much so that it seizes.
